Welcome to BALM Sound! These Terms and Conditions set out the terms of our sound bath and therapeutic treatment services. By booking and participating in our offerings, you ("the client") agree to the following terms:

Our Responsibility to You:

Providing a Safe Environment:

BALM Sound is responsible, to the extent reasonably possible, for offering you a safe environment where you can relax and unwind.

Skilled Practitioners:

Our sound bath sessions (musical performances) are conducted by highly-skilled musicians, and our therapeutic treatments are administered by certified therapists.

Medical Disclaimer:

A Sound Practitioner is not a doctor and will not diagnose or treat any specific illness. If you have a medical problem, we advise seeking professional medical help.

Your Responsibilities to Us:

Setting Up Your Account:

To access our services, you must create an account on our BALM Sound website at or download the Glofox app. Once you visit our website or use the Glofox app, you are required to read, understand, and sign our combined waiver and health and risk declaration form, as well as the Bath Rules. For minor, parents/guardians must complete the form.

Participants under 18 can set up an account, but a parent or legal guardian must complete the combined waiver and health and risk declaration form, as well as the Bath Rules, on their behalf. The minimum age for group classes is 16.

Personal Account Usage:

Your account is personal to you. You are not permitted to allow friends or relatives to attend sessions on your behalf, since they have not personally signed the terms & conditions agreement and the health & risk disclaimer relevant to the account holder. They will not have personally signed the Bath Rules either, which must also be read, understood and signed by that specific account holder.

The only exception is in the case of participants uder 18, whose forms must be signed by their parent or legal guardian.

Compliance with Rule and Guidance:

Clients must follow the rules contained within the 'Bath Rules' document. These rules prioritise the health, safety, and comfort of all participants. Clients must also follow the instructions and guidance of BALM sound’s practitioners and organisers, when attending sessions or receiving treatments.

Booking Your Experience:


Once your account is set up, you can purchase credits for single sessions or session credit bundles, which you can use to book sessions through our website or the Glofox app.

Single sessions and session credit bundles are valid for 2 years.

Booking Options:

We offer both group sound bath sessions (musical performances) and private therapeutic treatments.

Advance Booking:

All sessions and treatments must be booked in advance. We do not offer a 'drop-in' service.

Waiting List:

We offer a 'waiting list' option for fully booked sessions. When a spot becomes available, members on the waiting list will receive notifications.

Refund and cancellation Policy:

Please be aware of our strict cancellation policy for both group sessions and private treatments.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the relevant scheduled session or treatment.

Refunds for session credit bundles requested within 14 days of the initial purchase will be provided, including relvant refunds of the equivalent credit value of session credit bundles part used.

Refund Requests:

For refund requests, please email We will process refunds promptly to the extent reasonably possible.

Rescheduling Sessions:

You are allowed to reschedule a session or treatment before the 48 hours prior to a session or treatment. After that time, rescheduling will not be permitted.

Event Changes or Cancellations:

The organiser reserves the right to change or cancel any event, session, or treatment without a required notice period.

In the event of a cancellation from the organiser, a full refund will be issued. Clients who have booked the affected event will be notified as soon as possible after the decision to cancel the event has been made.

Session Interruption:

The organiser or practitioner reserves the right to pause or stop any session or treatment immediately, for reasons including, but not limited to breaches of the Bath Rules. This is entirely at the discretion of the practitioner or organiser. The release of refunds and the possibility to reschedule a session or treatment cancelled by the practitioner or organiser is up to the discretion of the organiser, but not the practitioner.

Asking clients to leave:

The organiser or practitioner reserves the right to ask one or more clients to leave a session or treatment immediately without refund or reschedule, for reasons including, but not limited to ensuring the Bath Rules are upheld. This is completely up to the discretion of the practitioner and/or organiser.

Leaving a session:

If you leave a session or treatment part way through the session, for whatever reason, you will not be entitled to a refund or the rescheduling of that session. Re-admittance is entirely up to the discretion of the practitioner or organiser.

Not a Replacement for Medical Treatment:

While our sessions and therapeutic treatments intend to promote relaxation and well-being, we do not provide them as replacement for medical treatment. We do not claim these services have the ability to heal the body or the mind. Our services are merely provided as a complement to a varied and balanced wellness routine.
